I don’t care what color you are…ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL !!!

Be it   white,yellow,red,black or blueeee.

LEGAL is all I care about….

What is wrong with this country…. My Grandfather Joe would be in a heated situation right about now.

He had to apply for an application.. and wait to get it then fill it out and send back…and wait.. and work hard

during this time to save up as much money to be able to buy a ticket on a ship. When he finally heard from

the U.S.A. , a long 2-3 month ship ride in some not to nice waters was next.

Finally reaching the shore and seeing lady liberty his goal still was not reached.

Ellis Island was the next hill to con cor

In the maze of these building  he would have to undergo interrogations  which he would have to prove, who he was,

and that he was a desirable person  with morals  and no criminal past. Next a full body check … not like now. There were no curtains or dividers . Just a big room and he was naked. Exposed to all who could see. This had to be demoralizing for this very proud man.  Being pulled  and prodded, ears, eyes, nose , mouth

and you know where else.  If any medical problems  found he would have been medicated or quarantined or worse sent back to his country.   Where ever that may be.

He then had to get to his chosen destination. Not like today, there were no buses, trains and cars. Traveling by horse and buggy having some hardships. But he did conquer four states from New York and  joined up  with other family and friends.

Honorarily following the laws prior to entering  the U.S.A and continuing until death.

So why should some follow the law and others not…. When you enter with deception, I can not consider you an honorable person. Deception will continue to follow. You will lie and teach to lie. You will disobey the laws. You will not be responsible. You drive a car but do not get insurance.

All the actions hurt me and my family….and we are citizens of the Great United States.

I don’t care what Mexico or China think..I don’t care about their financial problems…it’s their problems.. I resent the politician’s remarks to them.

Illegal is Illegal and that is that…I have to follow the laws of this land. Now all should…that means all of you politician’s must too.

Three cheers for the citizens and government of Arizona for passing a Illegal immigration crime law
that could be enforced in their state. This is a just law that the federal government will not enforce.
It is too bad that California and the other border states couldn’t make this happen also.

Unfortunately our majority-elected politicians here don’t get it that this is an anti-crime policy,
not an immigration policy. Americans welcome legal immigrants who follow the rules coming
into the U.S.A. If an alien person sneaks in or overstays their visa they are not basically honest;
how could we expect them to be law abiding? I am confident the police will do their duty and
respect American citizens and legal immigrants.

Amnesty is not an option because of the millions who would go on welfare and free services.
The race hustlers in San Francisco and Sacramento who are screaming “racial profiling”
seem to think that only Mexican are illegals; that is offensive since illegals are coming from all
over the world. Don’t worry about the threats of economic retaliation, they are empty. They
would shoot themselves in the foot if they did that.

With the track record of the Obama administration, I doubt that Arizona will have to worry
about interference. With all the Democrats talk, they can hardly get anything done even when
they control of the White House and Congress.

Arizona, you have my respect and support.

People on each side of the Arizona immigration law debate seem to be emotional and sometimes irrational as they refuse to consider others’ positions.

Actually, the measure currently getting all the media attention, plus posturing by politicians and a lot of do-gooders, is not needed.

Let me repeat: The law is not necessary!

Why?

Because the federal government already has all the required laws stating that all immigrants must follow proper procedures. That does not include pouring over the southern border by the thousands, often entering as large groups that also contain criminals, drugs and assault weapons.

But since consecutive Washington administrations have done nothing to embrace so-called immigration reform measures, the state government in Arizona decided to take things into its own hands.

Now we’ve seen rallies and riots, protests and accusations, saying authorities have violated constitutional rights.

This essay is not going to throw legalese at readers, rather, let’s use some common sense.

Therefore, let’s get a few things straight:

1. A person does not have constitutional rights until he or she is a citizen.

2. The proper procedure for two centuries is that you fill out an application for a visa or green card to visit/work. Persons can fill out paperwork to enter the USA as part of a quota system. Immigrants from Europe and elsewhere apply according to law, why shouldn’t people from Mexico and Central America?

Keeping America safe

Contrary to what has been said by bleeding hearts, authorities are not authorized to just stop any brown person – or anyone, whatever their color. However, there are circumstances that stand out like a pimple on a Cosmopolitan model’s nose when wholesale lots are surging over our border.

Remember 9/11? From that point on, airport security tightened in our country. Why not? And look at all the suspects who have been caught with explosive materials – even inside a terrorist’s underwear. Thankfully, security has improved. And yes, people who looked suspicious or their names matched suspects on international “no admission” lists were often detained.

It’s called national security, folks.

Neither political party has issued reasonable reform plans, and President Barack Obama appears to be hopeless when it comes to dealing with anything controversial. He has already said that any action will not come before the Nov. 2 election.

Do you know why discussions would be delayed? No politicians want extra flack from constituents when a lot of the incumbents are in danger of being turned out of office. And they should be.

‘Family’ issue is bogus

Despite the fact that illegals – with drug runners in their midst – recently shot a deputy sheriff, the Hispanic community has put forth a list of complaints saying they are badly treated.

A border rancher was recently murdered by the criminal element. Many of those in the network operate a shuttle system that hauls “coyotes” and narcotics. Families are harassed constantly and fear for their lives – on their own ranches – because of constant theft, vandalism and property damage.

How can excuse-makers gloss over broken fences, killing of livestock and threats from the drug cartel. Ranch families don’t want to give up their land, but they have to disappear when the thugs come through at night or get killed.

Two threats by rabble-rousers that are absolutely crazy include: A) An attempt to force a shutdown of the Chicago Cubs’ spring training facility in Arizona; and B) Windy City rioters are advocating a boycott of Chicago teams’ games.

The debacle has nothing to do with sports, yet some teams have been intimidated to wear special messages on uniforms or offer tepid praise of the rabble-rousers.

A naturalized citizen/congressman recently whined about “the breakup of families” when authorities deport persons, usually just the criminals. What he actually meant was this: A father enters illegally, he may or may not find a job, and then the mother and kids are summoned, with that being a good scenario, according to the lawmaker.

The crush of illegals has caused clinics and hospitals to go bankrupt. Obviously, the illegals when injured or sick go to emergency rooms. Schools are overburdened and no one will stand up and say, “Hey, English is America’s language.”

Proper IDs, then work toward citizenship

Complicating the whole mess is that the illegals want to have nothing to do with our basic language, plus they want to simply concentrate on their own culture. The old story: We want benefits, but don’t want to be accountable.

Pride expressed in being Irish, Norwegian or Mexican is wonderful. But while others easily assimilate, there is no sign that illegals want to become real Americans. They would rather tear up Old Glory.

Nobody is against “families,” but the gates should not be freely opened without meeting responsibilities.

As an aside, consider that Americans and Canadians have an agreement that proper papers must be in hand to enter the other country. For us, that means having a passport on one’s person.

Similarly, anyone who has entered from Mexico is supposed to have a green card (for work) or other paperwork that is part of the legal pathway to being in America.

That brings up another important aspect. The illegals that work are generally paid cash, with no money withheld for FICA, taxes, healthcare or anything else. Federal officials in Chicago recently shut down a company because a father-son combo employed numerous illegals, and “withheld” money from the workers, telling them it was required for taxes.

They are in jail on several accounts, and the workers were rounded up for deportation. At least $500,000 was confiscated from bank accounts because the men had not properly reported their considerable income. And the government was not paid, of course.

Clamp down on shady employers

The federal statutes that are not being enforced include a requirement to heavily fine companies or individuals who illegally employ immigrants. By the way, it is common for multiple illegals to “borrow” green cards from friends.

The mess in Arizona is not racism. It is about fairness. The incoming individuals need to follow the rules, but the federal government has failed. And politicians who are afraid of losing votes will do nothing until after the election.

Becoming part of the system would mean better wages for the workers, and our local, state and federal government would have billions to pay for goods and services. At present, cities and states are broke, getting little help from Washington.

If you came home from vacation and squatters had taken over your home and property, would it then be a struggle to regain what is legally yours?

If an illegal worked for your employer, but got healthcare and every other perk – use of highways, schools, public safety – without paying for them through withheld taxes, how would you feel?

Things won’t change right away. But defeating a great number of congressmen along with instituting term limits would be a start. And if Obama waffles because he continues to be afraid of touching any issue that is on the periphery of race, then “unallot” him in 2012.

Our president likes to make grand utterances each week. Wouldn’t it be nice if he would emphatically state that the border will be made secure, with more officers and whatever else is required?

Obama would get a landslide. But don’t hold your breath, he isn’t likely to make such a statement. He and congress
could fix the problem.

I am alternately puzzled and amused by the reaction of pundits and the main stream media
to the recent Arizona law concerning illegal immigrants.

When a person enters the United States, legally, they are given a pamphlet that advises
them to keep their visa at hand to prove their status in the U.S. I have traveled in several
countries in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Africa. All those
countries insisted that I be able to produce my passport and visa at the request of any
official or police officer.

But, we are now know as a “fascist” society that imposes this requirement on aliens in the
U.S. I guess Italy, the Netherlands, Peru, Costa Rica, and other countries, are now fascist?

Perhaps the advocacy group, La Raza, can explain the heavy and cruel hand that Mexican
authorities use on Hondurans, Savadorans, or Nicaraguans who are caught traveling through
Mexico without the proper papers. Try entering Mexico or any other Latin American country
without permission and watch what happens. I would like to have members of the electronic
and print media do this.

The Arizona law does not permit police officers to grab someone because of their appearance.
The officer can only investigate their status if they are stopped for suspicion of being associated
with a crime. Defense lawyers will make certain this provision is carried out. The Arizona Law
only attempts to enforce existing Federal law. The Bush and Obama adminstrations have lacked
the guts and integrity to deal with this issue honestly and this is why we are in our present predicament.

You can’t let some people be exempt from the immigration law, and others have to abide by the law.
The more states follow AZ, the illegals will move back to their home country. This is? long over-due.

Illegal immigration is a crime. These people are coming in already criminals by the nature of their entry.
Illegal immigration is not a RACE issue its a Home Invasion issue. If someone comes into your home
uninvited that’s just not right. If its your home, your state, your country it is still home invasion. Their is a
legal process for being an American. There are immigrants from all over. Americans view these people as
Americans, when they legally decide? to be part of the great US.
